Pride Month 2023

Pride Month is celebrated annually during the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Riots, an uprising that marks the beginning of an ongoing movement to prevent discriminatory laws and practices against LGBTQ+ Americans. It is a time to acknowledge the challenges faced by this community and to stand in solidarity with their fight for equality, acceptance, and human rights, as well as a time to recognize the LGBTQ+ community and their many contributions to society.

The It Gets Better Project has identified more than 1100 organizations in countries all over the world that are offering support to LGBTQ+ youth, check them out HERE.
