Setting your organization (big and small) up for success: Inclusion as the foundation as opposed to triage responses to ‘incidents’

ERGs, guest speakers, and pride parades - oh my! How do we celebrate our queer and trans staff all year-round? Visibility and community: The number one thing LGBTQ staff want from a company is to work with other folks who look like and identify like us. So where do we start if we’re a super small company?

Never tokenize! Often our most marginalized team members are asked to speak on behalf of all members of their respective identity groups - how can we stop this practice?
