Quality Counts Resources

The following free tools and resources are available for use by Denver's youth-serving organizations, programs and professionals. Additional program quality improvement support and resources are available to DAA’s Venture and Trailblaze member organizations. Learn more about becoming a DAA member.

The DAA team is available to help afterschool providers learn how to utilize these resources and implement other best practices. For more information, please contact us at info@daalearn.org.

Preparation, Interaction, Reflection and Logistics (PIRL) Resources

With more youth-serving programs using online platforms to provide remote instruction, the DAA is offering the free-to-use Preparation, Interaction, Reflection and Logistics (PIRL) tool, which assesses various dimensions of quality for online learning.

Content-Specific Provider (CSP) Resources

Because content-specific programs are often short in duration, it can be difficult to measure their impact on youths’ skills and social emotional development. That’s why the DAA created this 10-item tool to help CSPs quantify both their impact and opportunities for improving programs.

Virtual Measurement Package

In response to organizations moving to virtual platforms to reach youth and families, the DAA is sharing these free-to-use tools, resources and recommendations designed to help organizations measure the impact of their virtual programs.
