Description: Effective family engagement is a key factor in successful youth programs. So what gets in the way? The answer may surprise you! In this interactive workshop, participants will discover the key barrier to family engagement and will explore how to move past this barrier. Participants will also receive ideas and strategies for creating more meaningful engagement within their programs, shifting our mindset to “what CAN we do?” rather than “why we CAN’T”.
