Trauma & Trauma-Informed Practices: Considerations for Self-care & Wellness

Description: Awareness raising about the way trauma-informed practices are supported by active self-care; how and why self-care supports sustaining a trauma-informed environment. Information about the negative effects of helping (recognizing warning signs) and information about self-care resources. Considerations for organizational and individual wellness. Four key strategies of wellness that can help educators (and students) during this time of ongoing community crisis/disruption.
