Emotional Intelligence Corner:
Be Proactive in Combatting Summer Programming Burnout!
As many of you near the midway or beyond point of summer programming, burnout can start to creep in. Practicing gratitude and focusing on 3 good things can make a huge difference in our moods and how we show up for ourselves, each other and young people. This Happiness Break mini podcast from the Greater Good Science Center is a guided tool for identifying those three things (or you can come up with your own)! Try this with staff and the young people in your program. Go find what’s good!
