The City and County of Denver NEEDS Your Input!
Denver received $154 million of federal funding through the American Rescue Plan to support our recovery in 2021, and we’ll receive another $154 million in the coming weeks. Feedback will be an integral part of the decisions around where these funds are allocated! As a result, it is vital that we get provider and parent voice on the value and the need for additional federal funding to support afterschool and summer programs.

Please take a moment to share your voice by participating in an online survey to help inform the city’s economic recovery strategy

Welcome Kim Schulz, OCA's New Associate Director of Strategy and Sustainability!
For the last 22 years, Kim has been a leader in the Non-Profit Sector and has advanced the YMCA organizations impact on youth and families across the metro area.  Her greatest success is her work around closing the achievement gap in vulnerable communities- more than 1,200 kids have improved their literacy and math skills each summer!

Stepping into the role of Associate Director of Strategy and Sustainability for the Office of Children’s Affairs with the City and County of Denver, aligns with her passion to ensure that all Denver families have access to quality, affordable programming that meets their needs.
DAAconnect Reminders and Updates
OST Providers! Are your programs listed on the Youth Program Locator? If not, it is a great time to list your Summer and Fall programs as parents are looking on the Youth Program Locator for out of school time activities. Log in to DAAconnect and update your Program Schedule. If you need assistance, please contact us at: daaconnect@denvergov.org.

Additionally, if you have any partner organizations or know of any other providers offering services or resources for families in Denver, we would love have them listed on the Youth Program Locator! The Youth Program Locator is for all organizations providing programs and services such as mental health support and resources, food/clothing access, violence prevention, etc. for Denver youth and families. We want to help families searching for resources, so please let us know and we will reach out to the organization!

Lastly, DAAconnect training material is posted in the HELP CENTER in DAAconnect. Our DAAconnect team is always happy to help if you need assistance or additional support in the system. Please reach out if we can help:
